November already!!
Lots has been happening over the last couple of months. Launching this new look version of the website has certainly been a challenge and consumed lots of time. However, I’m pleased with the results and hope it will be a good place for you to check out the Blog and look up info about my Original Paintings.
I have managed to get some painting done along with a few sketching trips in-between staring at a computer screen for hours on end.
I have been working on the website and also creating a brand new ‘Prints Only’ website.
The new Prints Only website is now done. It is undergoing testing and I’m hoping to launch it in the coming week.
The new ‘Prints Only’ website is intended to host my print collections so that all of you lovely people have the opportunity to purchase a print or two online without having to travel down to Devon.

So far I have added ‘Surfing Destinations’; prints of sea, coast and surf as well as ‘Rivers in the Landscape’, consisting of rivers in the landscape, funnily enough.
Joking aside I decided on the ‘rivers’ collection because of the link to being outdoors and I know many people love the calmness of being beside a river on a walk as much as I do.
There will be more ‘collections’ added with some already underway.
If you haven’t already, please ‘sign up’ in ‘New Print Collections’ HERE and you’ll be the first to know about new releases.
I managed to get a little time sketching and painting outside. The colours have been stunning this year.
For once we haven’t been battered by heavy wind and rain which has meant that the trees have held their leaves for much longer this year.
The golds, russets and rusty colours of Autumn have really shone through this year. Walking and sketching amongst this beauty has been a blessing.

On another note, I received an early Christmas gift from my wife Pam. It consisted of 2 little wooden dogs carved out as Christmas Tree decorations.
One is in the shape of a Labrador and has ‘Boo’ written across it, the other is in the shape of a working cocker spaniel and is inscribed ‘Arthur’.
This Christmas is the first one in over 16 years without either of them.
I feel that with these two little decorations their spirits will know I’m thinking of them and constantly missing them, while also remembering the wonderful times we had; watching them each year with a new toy or, in Boo’s case, dressed in her tinsel garland.
I will update the Blog again as soon as the new Prints Only website goes live. In the mean time, take care and speak soon.
